GTasks for Android is one of the few task management applications that synchronize with Google Tasks, though there isn’t yet an official API released.
The application is simple in design and functionality, resembling the actual Google tasks found in Gmail and Google Calendar quite successfully and it’s a quite popular application too!
Users can simply create lists, choose a color for each, and reorder them. Tasks are just plain notepad pages, with the first line being the title of the task and there is the ability to set a due date. Lists of tasks are displayed to the user as tabbed pages, navigated by flicking left and right.
GTasks is able to notify the user on due dates by a specific ringtone and/or vibration.
While a simple task list implementation, GTasks great power lies to your Google account synchronization, a functionality, mysteriously missing, from Android phones. In addition it’s a relatively small application (around 800KB installed), supporting App2SD and comes with a widget (which is working only if GTasks is installed to the phone’s system memory).
